How Does Amidren™ Work?

Stage I. Increase Testosterone Production:
Clinically tested doses of natural herbs stimulate your pituitary to secrete luteinizing hormone, which in turn stimulates the leydig cells in the testicles to produce testosterone. The ingredients used in AMIDREN have been clinically shown to increase natural testosterone.

Stage II. Lower SHBG and increase free testosterone:
Elevated testosterone is only beneficial if it is circulating in the blood as “free-testosterone”. Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) is a protein that binds to testosterone. An increase in SHBG occurs in many men as they age, especially if they are overweight. As SHBG increases and binds to testosterone, the amount of “free testosterone” decreases leaving less active testosterone available. AMIDREN lowers SHBG allowing more “free testosterone” to activate the functions of testosterone.

Stage III. Preventing the conversion of testosterone to estrogen:
Another important hormone to address is estrogen. Yes, estrogen- the hormone of abundance in women! As men age, more of the testosterone they produce is converted to estrogen. Excess estrogen can have a number of negative effects in men including lower libido and increased body fat. AMIDREN utilizes a 2-step estrogen modulation approach by inhibiting the conversion and blocking the estrogen receptor.  Step one involves an enzyme called the aromatase enzyme. This enzyme converts testosterone to estrogen. AMIDREN uses select herbs, which act as aromatase inhibitors and lowers the conversion of testosterone to estrogen.

Stage IV. Blocks Estrogen Receptors:
Step two of AMIDREN’s estrogen modulation uses estrogen-blocking compounds. In order for hormones to exert their effects they must attach to what are called receptor sites. AMIDREN contains natural compounds, which occupy and clog estrogen receptor sites and actually block estrogen from attaching to the receptors. This eliminates estrogen ability to exert any estrogenic activity or estrogenic effects.

Stage V. Lowering the conversion of testosterone to DHT:
Testosterone can also be converted into another hormone, called DHT (Dihydrotestosterone). At elevated levels, DHT is responsible for negative effects such as balding and enlarged prostate. The enzyme 5-alpha reductase is responsible for converting testosterone to this potentially dangerous hormone. AMIDREN uses natural 5-alpha reductase inhibitors to help prevent the conversion of testosterone to DHT.
